Eucalypt Trail

The Eucalypt Trail is located 14 kilometres north of Batemans Bay on the eastern side of the Princes Highway, in the Kiola Rest area.

An easy 500 metre loop, the Eucalypt Trail is designed to assist visitors to identify 11 different species of eucalypt trees using common and botanical names, flowers and fruits.

The 11 eucalypt species to be found include the Blackbutt, Sydney Blue Gum, Grey Ironbark, Monkey Gum, Rough Barked Apple, Sydney Peppermint, Red Bloodwood, Wodlybutt, White Stringybark, Spotted Gum and Bangalay.

The rest area incorporates public amenities, barbecues and picnic tables so visitors can take a short rest stop for lunch, following their Eucalypt Trail adventure.

Dolphin Wild Cruises

Dolphin Wild Cruises operates out of Huskisson with a state of the art, purpose built vessel. It has been designed with unique underwater viewing windows, which allows passengers to view dolphins, whales and other sea life beneath the surface in their own natural environment. The main passenger cabin is enclosed. There are four viewing levels and the large outside decks offer great viewing and photo opportunities

Cruises run two to three times a day to see dolphins and whales (in season), subject to weather and tide conditions. They provide complimentary tea/coffee and Devonshire tea on all cruises. Private charters available by arrangement and they can provide catering as required (all meals prepared by their own chef).

Staff and crew are familiar with the Jervis Bay area - with years of on water experience and local knowledge to give visitors the opportunity to enjoy a unique experience.
